The oratorio "Price of Peace" was a collaborative effort involving The JuJu Exchange, the Chicago Children's Choir, and Young Chicago Authors. Julian Reid, a member of The JuJu Exchange, played a significant role in its creation. The Chicago Children's Choir participated in the performance, providing vocal elements that enhanced the thematic depth of the piece.

The collaboration aimed to provide a vision of hope for the city during the holiday season, while also encouraging introspection about the hidden costs paid for Chicago to become a city.
